I am sick of it, Bigotry, Intollerance, Racism and Ignorance

It's amazing how when ever people show bigotry, intollerance, racism and ignorance they think saying, "well this is the south" makes it acceptable or pallatable. IT DOESN'T!

There is no excuse or way to rationalize BIGOTRY, RACISM, INTOLLERANCE & IGNORANCE although the latter you can fix. Anyone can become informed but not everyone is who is a bigot, intollerant and a racist, can overcome it. Most of the people who practice this type of bias, like how they feel about it and don't mind sharing.

Yes, the Sally Kern's of Oklahoma, don't feel the need to hide it and love to flaunt it.

It is after all in Oklahoma where the town's newspaper of Sapulpa, refused to give even one line to the nation's election winner on the Presidential Race.

I will not be surprised to hear someone or something else being exposed on their bigotted, racist, intollerant views full of ignorance soon.

It is not surprising to me to receive hate emails from people who disagree with my HR 676 stance or with hatred for my views against a failed Bush policy or my stance on the lies which brought us to war. However, lately, when I recieve emails letting me know they will move me out of Mustang, they will fail my children and they want a drunk driver to hit me and kill me, I think they have gone too far. When a teacher for the Mustang Schools district, publicises where my kids go to school and reveals things that happen at an IEP meeting, then its gone too far. When the school district, doesnt investigate it, then you smell corruption!

I doubt that the school district cares about two children and one parent who are disabled. They clearly dont care about anyone who is disabled and practice daily discrimination at every school by impeding access to handicapped spots for handicapped parents in many ways. They block the parking spots with vehicles (both school board vehicles and personal vehicles), they design pick up and drop offs for daycare children on the very spots assigned for the handicapped. When parents voice their complaints that they are not able to access the spots, they are told to attend Parent teacher meetings and suggest alternatives for how to manage traffic for day care busses as if those designated handicapped spaces are up for discussion clearly circumventing the law.

All the while knowing that if you park at Walmart, the local movie theater, the hospital in a handicapped spot, you can be towed and ticketed. At a Mustang School, you are encourage to use them and discriminate against the handicapped.

They routinely discriminate against the children who are handicapped and if parents attempt to request a correction or that the schools adhere to IDEA laws and regulations which are in place to protect children with disabilities, they threaten the parents with arrest for disturbing the peace.

I live in an intollerant, bigoted, ignorant, racist community. It had never been more evident until we elected a president of mixed race. What is even more shocking is that educators, on the tax payers payroll think they are protected by free speech when they encourage, allow and commence hateful speech directed at a president.

Yes it is the SOUTH, but we liberated slaves and the Civil Movement ensured through many court decisions that ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. Just not in Oklahoma!
